Are you giving them your site (domain, hosting, forum) or just having someone run your forum?

If you're just letting somene run your forum you'd just make them an admin.

If you're giving someone your site you'd have to transfer your domain name to them; they'd do this at any domain registry online, initiating a domain name transfer, and you'd have to accept the transfer request. Then they'd have to either get hosting or take over billing at your current host, and then they'd have to transfer files if they moved hosts.

It's really outside the scope of the free user to user support here... Not to mention, he'll need to sign up at godaddy.com or another domain registry to send a transfer request.

I do offer migration services to transfer data from one host to another host, and in that instance I offer domain registry services, but outside of working with directly with an organization I do not offer registry services to non-clients.

Once again, the new owner will need:
- A Domain Registrar, they can use your existing registrar or opt to use their own. Godaddy.com is a great registrar for domain names, but they're a horrible webhost. The new owner will need to do what is called a "Domain Name Transfer", where they're transferring the domain out of your control, and into an account owned by them.

- A Web Host, they can use your existing web host, or opt to use one of their own. I have a list of Recommended Webhosts that work well with UBB.threads; the plan they'd need really depends on the resources that your existing site utilizes. If they change webhosts, versus just using your account at your current host, they'll need to migrate the structure and files of your current host (including the MySQL Database) to their new webhost.

I offer both consulting and migration services through my company page VNC Web Services, I am a 3rd party developer for UBB.threads, and am not a representative of the company that owns UBB.threads (which would be UBBSystems).

There is no place to goto. To automate the process
First the new owner needs a domain name, which is yours.
In simple terms which step's can be adjusted.
Contact your registrar about a owner change.
Once the domain name is transferred to that person.
Then it is a simple matter of installing a backup of your forum to another site and enter the dns server names
The new owner can pick any hosting service they choose and assign the name to the site.
In fact the can use the same site if the host is willing to transfer all responsibility to the new owner.
Provide a backup of your forum so they can provide the same site data and forum layout.

Now to do that you need to do something with your forum license.
Meaning your license is tied to your member login at ubb or should be.
So that means he can't download the forum files unless you change your license info to that persons email address as well as newer versions if you have a current membership access.
