Today, I was asked "Which forum is so&so (custom island) advert located in?"
It occured to me that I couldn't easily report on this.

I mean yes, I can go to the Custom Islands tab and see all of them - but I don't see which forums 'own' the advert.
And of course I can visit each forum, click on 'details' and then custom inserts - but with a lot of forums this would take a while.

Am I missing something here? Surely there is an easier way. (?)

I knocked this query up quickly and it works for what I need, but again, am I missing something?

SQL Query
SELECT FORUM_ID, FORUM_TITLE, FORUM_ISLAND_INSERT, PORTAL_ID, PORTAL_NAME FROM ubbt_FORUMS, ubbt_PORTAL_BOXES WHERE FORUM_ISLAND_INSERT = PORTAL_ID AND PORTAL_CUSTOM = '1'

no you did not miss something
sounds like something I asked for years ago.
Better management tools of the forum settings.
It is to easy to loose track of what permissions, settings are for each forum..
In fact I had asked for some sample sql queries in the meantime be added to the stock code..

I like the one for styles popularity
But they all are useful

Josh Pett also created a list in 2003 that had many replies, with additional useful queries.
https://www.ubbdev.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/258506/useful-mysql-queries-for-ubb-threads.html

Rick Baker also created a list shortly after. You can find that list by searching the UBBCentral forums here.

These lists are generally to perform a specific task.

Be warned: making manual changes to your DB can easily break things -- and if you dont have a backup, your changes can be broken without any way to revert them.
