Upgraded to v.7.6.0 yesterday. One of our users contacted me this morning and mentioned that the "Mark All Read" (bottom left of forum summary page) was not working. I clicked on it and got http://www.byzcath.org/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/markallread

I did not receive any errors when upgrading. And the function works perfectly both here and in UBBDEV.

Thanks.

From the 7-6-0 archive you downloaded, upload these files to your website again.

/languages/english/markallread.tpl
/scripts/markallread.tpl
/templates/default/markallread.tpl

When I click "mark all read" at the bottom of my forum, I get a blank page, nothing happens

I'm passing this info from a member:

Quote
'Mark All Read' isn't working. http://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=markallread

I get a totally blank page in either Chrome or Firefox (since the forum upgrade).

OK maybe I was to fast, I did re-upload From the 7-6-0 archive

/languages/english/markallread.tpl
/scripts/markallread.tpl
/templates/default/markallread.tpl

and now I got this reply from the dude who complained

Quote
I now get to the 'Mark All Posts As Read' page but when I click on it, it takes me back to the main forum page but nothing has changed. The unread posts/forums are still there (marked in yellow).

Same result for both Chrome or Firefox.

Any suggestions?

languages/english/markallread.php
scripts/markallread.inc.php
templates/default/markallread.tpl

and I dont believe there were any changes within this one, but it wouldnt hurt to reupload it as well, since its related.

No It did not do the trick, just so we are at the same page we are talking about the marking on the left of each
forum which shows that new threads or posts have been added since last visit
and left of each post as well

Can you try something for me? I think you may have found a bug.

IN templates/default/markallread.tpl
FIND THIS:
<form action="{ubb url="ubb=domarkallread"}">

REPLACE WITH:
<form method="post" action="{ubb url="ubb=domarkallread"}">

Test the button again (after doing a browser page refresh on the page), and see if that works for you now.

Thanks!

it's working for me, all those red numbers go away and the counts reset accordingly
