Last night I noticed I had 4 forums that were not updating the New Post Indicators on the main page. Today, same thing, but I got my admin forum to finally update after I cleared all cookies, logged out and rebooted, logged back in. However, there are still 3 forums having this problem. I checked with a moderator and he is experiencing the same thing.

We did notice that our server is still time stamping yesterdays (10-18-02) date all all new posts. I've tried to use the OFFSET feature both at an admin level and user level, but the date stamp stays on 10/18/02???

Any ideas how to correct this on my end until my host gets the date corrected on our server???

I would recommend not messing around with it too much on the Threads end: If the posts showed up as 'yesterday' then your cookie (before cleared) would have indicated that you were there after the post was made, therefore the bulb would not be lit..

Your users would have to go through similar cookie deleting, etc. to get those posts to show up. I would lean on your host to get the time corrected.. There may be a few posts that will have incorrect timestamps in the interim but you can always reply to them and bump them to the top if dateslip is not keeping them in place.

That's not the problem. The new ones were showing up, but the old ones dated 24 hours ealier were constantly being listed as new posts along with the real new posts.

I had to bump my date offset by 24 hours and things are functioning properly for the time being. Now I'm waiting for my host to get the time corrected on there server...sigh.
