Where do I go to change the display default of 6-16 characters to 6-20 characters? I tried finding the file looked at templates but can't locate the place. Any help pointing in the right direction is appreciated.

Go to Control Panel > Membership Settings: Registration

Within the "Basic Options" tab, the items are:
"Minimum Display Name Length"
and
"Maximum Display Name Length"
