Can I get some feedback on resolving an odd issue with new registrations? I have noticed no new registrations recently which is very, very odd. I tried registering myself under another email address and found that nothing happened after I filled in the information and clicked "create account." I received no notice when I clicked save and I received no email. When I tried to log in under the name and password I just registered it said "Login Name/Password not found."
My control panel is set to "enable email verfication" and "Require A Unique Email Per Account" but nothing more. I can't figure out what is wrong. Any suggestions?

I was able to successfully register, and verify, a new account on your forums. The only reason a registration would appear to go through, but be denied, would be if a user was found in the Stop Forum Spam database and you had the "Spam Protection Level" setting set to "Auto with Silent Fail". Though, this shouldn't be the case if you're able to login on versions 7.6+ (when SFS was added to the login system).

Thanks for going to that trouble! I wonder why I can't register under this email address? I checked and Auto with silent fail is not selected.
Were you able to log in?

Yes, I was able to register with my Gmail account, validate the registration, and login without any issues.
I don't think that a privacy plug-in, or tracking protection settings in browser, would break stop forum spam as it's done via a connection from your server to their server.
I'm wondering if there was some hiccup between your server and stop forum spam when you were testing, when you access the settings page in the control panel what does the service say when you click test connection?

Thanks for being a guinea pig for me! I got it to work when I used another email address.
