This might not be a bug but something is strange Hi One member alerted me that one thread on our britbike forum gets a whole lot of views 22K within a few days which seems odd. The thread is just a info on our hot links forum that a bike is for sale at craigslist. see here Feb 12 = 22K views http://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/765196#Post765196hot links forum is here http://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/forums/35/1/hot-links-forumI do think its strange normally a thread like this gets hundreds of views not that many thousands. May I ask can I check something and I have recently activated cloudflare do you see anything I don't? Thanks for your advice

Right now four hours after posting this it had 1000 more views.
I don't know what you guys are using for timeframe for Who's Online Now but mine is set to one hour.

Now you have 115 viewing the topic.
The timeframe has nothing to do with page views. One hour just shows all who have visited in the last hour.
Maybe it is just a popular topic.
Are you complaining that you have to much traffic on your site?
I can't fathom how this can be considered a bug.

Ruben, the reason I put the thread here is at I just activated cloudflare and somehow i was worried that it maybe didn't match with the forum. If you or anyone else think it have no reason to be here then feel free to delete the thread.

No issue at all. I would think the only concern is the bandwidth consumed by visitors. But that usually is a good thing right?
I have never implemented cloudflare but I think there is some setting to throttleback connections, but of course that means visitors get frustrated and leave.

CloudFlare will attempt to filter malicious traffic, not send a burst of traffic to a specific page...
That page likely ended up shared (Reddit, Pinterest, Facebook, etc) and is seeing a burst of traffic
