How do I change stock button icons?

Hi,

I'm attempting to add additional icons using UBB.threads stock button element. For example, I copied the bookmark button and looked at the code...

<span class="fa-stack fa-1x" style="height:1em;line-height:1em;width:1.5em;"><i class="far fa-bookmark fa-stack-1x"></i></span>

I imagine fa-stack and far fa-bookmark fa-stack-1x

refers to the bookmark icon? I'm wondering how to change the icon image for new buttons?

the code is actually stacking two separate fonts to display according to the status of the thread or forum watch/subscription.

the fonts it stacks is "slash" and "bookmark."
