I have successfully upgraded one install of UBB Threads to ver. 7.7.3

When running through the second install, i received this error on the /upgrade/Install Utility dealing with the config file.

Unable to write to config.inc.php. Please check the permissions on this file and reload this page.


I have no config.inc.php file on either install of UBB Threads.

Any idea what I am overlooking???

For an upgrade, your config file is located in /includes/config.inc.php

For a fresh install, there will be no config file, as the installer is the tool which requests basic configuration information from you, to generate that /includes/config.inc.php file.

Accessing /install/index.php directly will determine if you are doing an install or upgrade.
