Hey guys!

Just wondering if it's been considered to have a video upload and player capability, seeing photo galleries is a thing. I think it would be really cool! I've pondered just installing an open source video player and streaming service, but then it'd be working out of UBB.threads... It'd be cool if such a feature was integrated to support discussion and comments on such things... I know someone's going to probably mention disk space and requirements for such a thing, but that's really up to whoever's chosen to run their forum. If they can't do it, it can just be disabled.

If such a feature is too astronomical, even an audio clip player would be nice, for podcasts for example. Nothing too fancy.

Media hosting is not just about disk space.
1.Server Bandwidth.
2.File Size Limits and Storage Space.
3.Slow-Loading or Freezing Video.
4.No Single File Format Standard for Web Video.
5.Hope you like converting videos. A lot.
6.Video Players.
7.Cumbersome Code / Shortcodes.
8.Varying Quality Across Browsers.
9.Loss of Visibility and Traffic.
10.Piracy.

Video hosts also employ massive networks of redundant web servers all around the world. When you upload a video, it is automatically replicated on every server on their content delivery network (CDN), which means when a visitor to your site requests a video, it will be served from the node that is nearest to their location, ensuring smooth playback and an enjoyable viewing experience.

Your viewers will love you.

And your video will be enjoyed the way you intended… no matter which device or browser your viewer chooses.
