The existing header includes is breaking the mobile responsive style for v7.7.4.
What would you suggest for a good site to do research to correct this?
Also any suggestions on utilizing the style marshmallow css settings to accomplish this?
There are apparently a few methods to do this and I wanted to do what is the most compatible with UBB.

What coding are you attempting to use for your header? We use the header includes here and on numerous other sites without "breaking" mobile capabilities.

When inserting 3rd party (non-stock) coding into the header includes you'll need to make sure that your code is mobile capable; UBB.threads does not check that any code added is responsive (that's up to whomever develops the coding that you're inserting).

I have an article "Adding a Logo to UBB.threads" which discusses adding a responsive logo to the top of your forums utilizing the HTML includes if you need a springboard.

That's just it I am trying to fix the coding.
Like here it has in the header includes a couple of banner images plus a logo image plus a text button navbar plus a image navbar.
I think I figured it out with font awesome and a script to change to a hamburger menu icon.
Just have to test it.

The reason for my question was what was the best approach for this with UBB.
I see the header navbar here works but the colors do not change when I change styles.

So I assume I can correct this using the extra properties in each style.

Yes, additional properties for colors would have to be applied in the extra properties in every style if you wanted them to change for each style.

The HTML you put in will be the HTML you get out, if you insert HTML with errors (including improper nesting) you'll get the same output; I've seen some forums putting a closing tag before an open tag and assuming things would "just work" such as:
Code
</p>
<p>blah blah blah

This is especially bad form when things are approaching a "strict" working model, whereby dirty code just won't function in some browsers/on some servers.

Agree, that is another issue there are some broken/orphaned html tags currently.
I cleaned up some of them but there are still some left.

Have you run your page through https://validator.w3.org/ ?
What happened after you fixed any of customizations which are are breaking the page display?

As an attempt to assist you directly, please post a link to your forum with errors, or reply here with the custom html/code you've inserted that is causing errors.

Yes I have and there are a lot of errors as I have said.
I need to recreate the whole includes header and fix it.

So while doing that I wanted to enhance it.
Hence my original question on researching responsive formats..
