Hello,

Thanks in advance for answering the question.

If I want to make a forum area where the member needs "x" amount of posts to view the forum information is that possible. I don't know if I am using the appropriate terminology so this is what I want to do.

I have a topic area that I provide information daily. I would like to make accessible for members that meet a certain post count criteria and those that don't meet that post criteria can't view the information.

Is this possible, if so, how do I do it?

Thanks smile

Easy Peasy.
Create a net new group.
Then create a forum.
Edit the forums permissions to allow access for the new group to that forum.
Then go back to the groups page and add the number of posts required to auto promote them.
You probably will need to review the site permissions for that new group also.

The forum topic is already in play for years. Does that matter?

Are you creating a new forum or wish to change access to a existing forum..
You can't grant/block groups per topic .
If a existing user has the required posts count they will be added to the group automatically after their next post

Okay then after creating the group then goto to the existing forum permissions say "Bad Man 2020"
Add zero's for the groups that should not have access for can use forum, can read threads, can create threads, can reply to existing threads. Plus whatever else you want. Then add a 1 to those fields for the new group
You can make any change you want.
Like use can see forum for all groups so they know the forum exists but can't read the topics etc.
