I am stepping down as administrator of my organization's forum and want to put the new person in charge. How do I do this?

Here are the steps I've already tried:
  • Went to Master Settings > Primary and tried to change Forum Email Address. I would click "Update Primary Settings" but my email always returned when I checked back.
  • Went to Master Settings > Primary and tried to change Main Administrator User Id. I would click "Update Primary Settings" but my User ID always returned when I checked back.
  • Manually changed config.inc.php to make the previous two changes. This worked and the Master Settings > Primary now shows the new administrator.

My problem is that new registrations are still coming to my email address. These should all go to the new administrator. How do I change this?

Great.
But from I can tell you are still a admin.
Just not the super admin.
You would need to edit from the cp.
members
search for yourself and in the permissions tab.
select a member status other than administrator.

Why This Happens:
This happens when you attempt to submit a form page that has data missing or out of range. When you click the submit/update button, you will not be able to proceed until the highlighted error is corrected.

Thanks, that helps. I didn't see the error since it was in the Advanced Settings section and wasn't obvious until I opened that section up. Without seeing any error message I assumed that the settings were being updated. I've found the error and fixed it.
