Hi,

Can you enlighten me please, I believe that the styles in 7.7.5 comes with
Styles that have CP settings Styles >> Name, Images & Wrapper >> Style Name >> General Images
set to "Ventura"
I wonder if there is a difference between Ventura and default) it looks like I changed UBBT77 to default but on UBBT77 - Dark I kept Ventura.

Also I have changed the UBBT77-Dark Markup Panel Images and Mood images to default_dark.

I wonder what is the correct settings for these to Styles so that it works best?

The original setting is ventura for general images for both of those styles,

But whatever floats your boat, you decide.

Isaac, I need to ask one other styles question

I used to have all styles enabled from UBBT70-UBBT77

I have now disabled all styles except the two UBBT77 options.

I see that members can now only change to these two options.

HOWEVER how about all members that have chosen the other styles they still use their old style.

I know I can delete the old UBBT70-76 styles what happen when I do it?
Will these members who used UBBT70-76 automatically have there style set to default or do I need to execute a SQL command?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

PS
The reason for above question is that I will try and incorporate the forum layout in the rest of my website with new navigation bar that will look like UBBT77.
So all the other colors styles will not work

If a member has chosen a style, then that style is later disabled or deleted, the member's style gets reverted to forum default.

If you change your forum default style, they will get whatever your new default is.

"default" is a catch-all for users who have not chosen a style, or have no style available to them.

EDIT:
if a user has a style available to them, and they have selected it, that will be the style they use.

if you have set a specific style default for a forum/category, that style becomes the default for that forum/category. users who have chosen their own style will continue to use their chosen style.

Isaac I read your answer right you say

Quote

Feedback I have not deleted the styles only disabled a few days ago and now after I changed the active UBBT77 to UBBT77Dark I tested one members account and it still showed his old chosen style.
Maybe I need to delete the style before it changes to default.

Just for you to know.
Cheers

I was able to duplicate your issues just after reading your recent post. A fix has been created and will be available within the next version.

https://www.ubbcentral.com/changelog-snapshots.php#20201106

The fix required transposing some lines of code that have existed in that sequence for at least a decade. The fix also required some additional correction of sessions for guest users.

Tested. The results are now as you would expect them to be. thumbsup

Thank you Isaac, I choose to delete the UBBT75-76 styles
I actually kept the old disabled UBBT70 and UBBT70 Light at least for a while.
We do have some very old members who really want to stick with them. So for a while I'm being soft with them.
Plan is to only Keep the two UBBT77.

Now I need to find need me to find a responsive SubNavbar template that fits with our forum for the rest of the site.
but thats another story

Thanks
