One of our members reported following Captcha does not appear to be working when you use he "post reply" button It brings up the photo viewer. Some times the photos highlight & some times they don't But in either case the Verify buton does no respond . If I post using the full editor option all is fine Thanks

Well you are using re captcha v2. A lot of people say it is a bug from Google But This can happen if user does not select all the correct images and repeats forever till they do. Read up at: https://groups.google.com/g/recaptcha/c/pc6NjsBc0Sk?pli=1Make sure you read all of it. Or google "problems with recaptcha v2 can't select images" to see more. Some have weird resolutions. For example your user, I suspect he could not answer the challenge correctly on quick reply but when they switched to full reply they could because it was a different challange. Maybe you need to go back to stock captcha and use ImageMagick Personally I hate selecting the check box and getting the challenge , because sometimes I can't complete it and I am talking non UBB sites as well.

Ruben, thanks for the info, I am using ImageMagick and recaptcha v2. I tried now to change the keys in CP to V3 keys but then got an error when trying to create a post. I have not figured out what to change more as I cannot see anything else in the CP. So now I have changed it back to V2 just to makes it work until I know how to set it up for V3 do you have any advise what I need to change to make it work with V3? Thanks

Ok then we must continue to use V2 Any ideas then about the initial issue Captcha does not appear to be working when you use he "post reply" button It brings up the photo viewer. Some times the photos highlight & some times they don't But in either case the Verify buton does no respond . If I post using the full editor option all is fine Is this a google bug or UBBT? If google should I perhaps disable the quick post option?

We simply read the "answer" from ReCaptcha, if their system is continuously pushing additional images that'd be an issue to take up with them. If you're unable to get it to work I'd recommend just using the built in captcha system with ImageMagick vs populating the recaptcha keys.

There you go a definitive answer. Might be time to revisit your html includes again. You have had issues with it before. Or go back to CAPTCHA instead of reCAPTCHA

Ruben you wrote Well you are using re captcha v2. I must have miss-understood you I took it as I "only" used v2 and obviasly should upgrade. Now when reading yours and Gizmos replies it tells me the bottom line is that it's not a UBBT issue. I'm not going back to Captcha just yet but if/when I do I guess I jshould ust remove the Keys from the CP and it would switch automatically. I think I will disable the quick post option first and start to read about the difference between Captcha vs Recaptcha v2. Thanks
