After updating to 7.7.5 (from 7.7.3) successfully, I somehow messed up my Forum Display so I decided to go back and reinstall. I restored my saved Database (from 7.7.3) thru my cpanel, uploaded new files and ran the installer. When it got to updating the Database I get the following error: Updating Database To Version 7.7.4
If at any time this step times out you may just refresh this screen and it will continue.
Table 'ubbt_LIKES' already exists
Database Update: Step 6
Creating ubbt_LIKES table...FAILED
SQL Query: CREATE TABLE ubbt_LIKES ( TYPE char(1) NOT NULL, POST_ID int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', POSTER_ID int(11) DEFAULT '0', TOPIC_ID int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', USER_ID int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', TIMESTAMP int(11) NOT NULL ) ENGINE=MyISAM
Reason for failure:
Upgrade Step: /install/upgrade.php?step=altertable Should I drop that Table and try again?

Well, the upgrade utility is trying to create the likes table which is a part of the upgrade step for that version; if your database is already been restored to a previous build what are you trying to accomplish?
If you remove the likes table it will clear any like data that has been made on your forum installation.

More info:
I just updated this afternoon from 7.7.3 and couldn't get the General HTML Includes to update, for some reason the button did nothing, so I decided to start over.
Was there a Likes Table in 7.7.3?
The Table appears empty, so would removing it allow it to be created again by the Install process?

Well, I did drop the Like Table and ran the update again and it seemed to work ok.
The 'Update General Settings' button still does not work.
Any ideas why that would not work after the update?

In v7.7.x+ we begun using HTML5 "requires" coding, which will highlight fields which are required to be filled out in each HTML form which are empty or contain an invalid value. If you're trying to update "General Settings" and something will not process, go through each "tab" and find anything with a red box around the input box (the "tabs" for the general display settings are "general", "date & time", and "HTML Includes"); be sure to check any regions that will need to be expanded (with a + sign). For further information, please see This Post for more information.
