Is there a way to set up threads so that they are automatically locked once the last post in the thread is older than a predetermined time? Or, failing that, is there a way to periodically go into Control Panel and lock threads that meet that condition?

I looked at Content/Manage Threads, but the requirement to choose a target forum bothers me. I don't want to move any threads. Just lock ones older than a certain time frame.

well I have never tried it but you can close multiple threads in "manage threads"
It appears to be one forum at a time.

How about a feature request? Create the ability to lock threads based on the last post date. So, you set up a forum so that once the last response to a thread is six months old, the thread is automatically locked and no further responses can be added.
