Hi guys!
1) My users are used to the ShoutChat being called the ShoutBox. How do I edit any files so that the name ShoutBox is displayed instead? I don't need to rename the url, just the text that users see such as that at the top of the chat area and also in any menus.
2) Some users are reporting that the 2 lines at the top right of the page that expand the ShoutChat area don't work for them. This is the case with me on one device but not another. Any suggestions please?
3) On a mobile device, is there a way that when the page loads, that the ShoutChat defaults to the most recent shout instead of having to scroll right to the bottom?
4) Is there any way to alter dimensions on the mobile version?
5) How do I edit the 'Comment guidelines' text in the ShoutChat at the top
Thank you

Search the Language Editor for the string you want to change, such as "ShoutChat" then replace the proper entry with your preferred name.
I think that these lines may not work for larger screen widths like on a tablet as the sidebar would already load, what browsers/devices are having difficulties?
The most recent shout should be the one at the bottom of the shoutbox.
The mobile dimensions are specifically chosen to industry standards, adjusting things could result in pages not being correctly identified by web crawlers or mobile devices.
"Comment guidelines" is also in the language editor.

Thanks Giz! The keyword shoutchat returns:
'Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<', expecting end of file in /home/*******/public_html/members/languages/english/faq.php on line 43'

First make sure you are using the language editor in the UBB control panel , Not using a direct file editor. Here is a post with the same issue and a resolution. https://www.ubbcentral.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/264767

Yes that is the correct area for the language editor; I went ahead and fixed the line giving you an error.
The File you're looking for is portal_islands.php
