Hi All,

I am getting this message on the forum and it appears to have shut it down to guest. I clicked Update All Tables to UTF8mb4 in error

We are currently upgrading our forums, the current ETA is approximately an hour.

Any help would be appreciated to fix this issue

The message is probably what you typed in the close board section in the CP.
Have you tried opening the board?

Maybe the conversion failed or got stuck so it never completed.
With that said your database is subject to be corrupted.
Either case you probably need to reload a database backup.
The script normally should have closed the board converted the database then opened the board again.
There is not a undo option.

When you say not open to guests I assume that it is not open to normal users either because normally when a forum is closed it is only open to a admin.

If you are not processing with the utf conversation then just turn the forum back on. In the future cancelling those tasks could cause problems with your forums if you don't allow them to proceed

Try to restart the board but getting the same message,

Where would the backups be located?

It looks like they're open right now.

The forum doesn't auto backup, this is something you'd have to setup with your web host or through a shell script on your server (if allowed).

Thanks for the help I cleaned up the ubbt-online and it is back up again.
