UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support CAPTCHA image not displayed

New registrations not possible because the CAPTCHA image is not being displayed (v 7.7.5). Any suggestions on what to check and/or fix this problem?

check control panel -display-CAPTCHA Settings
see if Graphics Library To Use For CAPTCHA is selected for one of the two that display
below
If neither display then you need to check if gd is installed on php or if the path changed for ImageMagick (Control Panel-Master Settings- Paths & Database)

Looks like you were set to use ImageMagick and the path changed.
Call your host and ask for the new path.
In the meantime I switched you to GD2 which should work.

Thanks..... I'll contact the host and get the new path for ImageMagick and enter that in the appropriate place and switch it back.
