On 8.0 with the new "like" option, I would like to be able to re-order the buttons on posts from [Like, Edit, Reply, Quote] to [Reply, Quote, Edit, Like] - How would I do this? can it be edited in a template? Thank you so much for your help!

That is in post_top.tpl and post_side.tpl , I did not search all the templates
look right below the
{* POST OPTIONS START *}
section
remember when you edit stock code it is not supported

There is a good deal of mobile magic with the display options and how they're presented to the browser for mobile clients; as Ruben said any changes to these files are unsupported and we will not be able to help you with mobile issues on your site.

Thank you, can I add it as a feature suggestion? To be able to re-order the buttons as "Reply" should really be first as it would be the most used and then Quote .. the rest can go in any order but Reply and Quote should be before any of them.

You're welcome to modify your forums to suit your needs, but any changes are unsupported. The order items display in have been standard amongst several competing products and mobile friendliness.
