I know about the issue with cookies for the Control Panel admin access. But we're also experiencing an issue where sometimes, when a user posts a new thread or reply, they get a 500 error and a blank screen. Deleting the cookies fixes the problem.

I know the cookie fix for the admin problem will be released with the new 8.0.1 release, but will it also fix this problem? Or is this a different problem?

Also, just an FYI. I have quit using Safari. It creates problems with the forum that do not occur when using Google Chrome.

What displays in your webserver log when this issue appears? A 500 error generally indicates an issue with the Web server

I'd have to catch one in the act to even know where to look in the logs. It's been my experience that any php failure will generate a 500 error. I'll enable debugging and see if we can catch the error.

After enabling debugging, this is the error message that we're getting. (Attached.)
