Our britbike.com/forums history is that it comes from UBB Classic and in 2005 I swapped to UBBThreads.
A couple days ago I was googling something and the search result led me to one of our boards.

https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/forums/27/1/bsa-gold-star-forum

so I checked that particular thread and while reading it I noticed that there was no replies because the thread was locked.
I unlocked it and next day I noticed that half of all threads in that board are locked.
All threads up til May 1st, 2015 are locked. That is about 1200 threads.
This thread and all previous are locked
https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/595545/cast-motor-mount-lugs#Post595545

When I open Bsa gold star forum 25 threads are displayed on each page, 107 pages in total and on page 54 dated 2025-05-01 above thread is shown.

I cannot recall that I have made anything that could have caused it to lock all previous threads in this board.
I know how to unlock each threads individually but how can I unlock all threads in one go in that board?

Do you have any ideas what could have happen?

Thanks

On the thread list you can use the inline moderation to select all closed topics on a page and then open them, but that would affect them on a page by page basis.

Hi Giz,

That makes it a bit easier, do I need to to do it page by page (52+ pages) or can I moderate it easier?

You could make your topics per page longer temporarily.

OK I still have to select all 1200 threads individually as I see no select all box.
Is that understood correctly

The inline moderation feature displays on the thread listing page above the checkboxes, you'd tell it to select all closed topics on the page then you'd select that you want to open all selected topics at the bottom of the page.

AFAIK it should show on the public thread listing page for all admins; its just the down chevron above the check boxes at the right of each thread

It's just the thread list page, after you click the target forum... For example here at UBBCentral for this topic it'd be in the How Do I thread list.

I see thew check boxes to the right, and the inline moderation dropdown at the bottom, your select all closed dropdown will be at the TOP of the page ABOVE the checkboxes as mentioned in my previous post

BTW if these are imported from an ancient build from 20 years ago they are imported topics with attached replies in chronological order and are not "threads" so your mileage will vary with unlocking them and expecting them to display how modern posts are handled.

Giz,

All locked threads in that board was started in UBBthreads between 2005-2015 There are no previous threads left.
As I'm not an english speaking from birth there are words I don't recognize like probably "Chevron" I guess that is the down arrow. I clicked on it and found the select menu.
Changed forum to show 50 threads and selected all closed topics 24 times to open all topics.
Mission completed now. Thanks!

PS I'm used to see a box reading select all when working in other apps but now I know how to select it here.
cheers
