Hi

I am still using ver 7.7.5 and PHP 7.4
I have been awaiting next version after 8.0.0 as it contained some bugs
Now I see that 8.0.1 was released Nov 26 but it's not possible to download.
8.0.0 is possible to download.

A while back it was mentioned that Patch 17-ubbthreads-8-0-1p is available to fix the issues for those who use 8.0.0

My question is do i need to download 8.0.0 first and then Patch 17-ubbthreads-8-0-1p or is the 8.0.0 now updated with the patch included
or will 8.0.1 be available for download soon? it's just pointing to another page not functioning as a proper download.

My point is that I wish to make the upgrade as easy as I can.

I'm asking because I need to upgrade UBBThreads soon and switch to PHP 8 and then migrate to a more modern platform.

Install v8.0.0 to upgrade the forum then then use the v8.0.1 patch over those files.

(As I understand it the new v8.0.1 version works nowadays with PHP 7.4) Right?
and when the forum is verified to work I should change from PHP 7.4 to
PHP 8.?

What PHP version do you recommend? PHP 8.0 or 8.1 or 8.2
My current platform use up to PHP 8.2

Then when it all works with PHP version 8.?
I can start thinking of migrating to a new platform. Does it sound like a plan do you think?

UBB.threads 8.0 works with PHP 7.0 - 8.3.
