I have pretty much verified this Rick. Every sticky post gets removed from the post table like they were deleted and the topic header remains correct. The topic header points to a post that does not exist anymore in the posts table. I used some DB tools and went looking for the moved post. It's gone. I also tried to see if the post ID was nullified or set to 0. The posts are just gone because I didn't find any orphans.

I am using MYSQL5 and php5 on Windows 2003 with IIS. Not sure platform is the issue here.

I've been moving posts/topics that are stickied, unstickied, announcements on my local development box to try and track down the last of the move topic bugs and I can't dupicate this one. I move a sticky and it moves to the proper location as it should.

Are you moving the topic with the manage topic option or editing the post and moving from there? Both of these work for me locally however any extra info might help me figure this one out.

I just tried this on my install and it seems to be working like it should. I tried the following and everything worked correctly:

1. Post a topic.
.a) manage topic and make it sticky
.b) move topic to a different forum
.c) unstick topic
.d) move it back to the original forum (unstuck)

2. Post a topic and make it sticky when posting it.
.a) move topic to a different forum
.b) move topic back
.c) unstick topic

Windows 2000 Advanced Server, PHP 5, MySQL 4.1.20.

I must of found left over posts from when you had move topic issues earlier. It seems to work now. I thought I had fixed all of them but it seems I didn't.
