I don't know if this would be considered a bug or not, but when I upgraded to B4, the portal page, when I bring it up on MSN Explorer or I.E. 6, the middle section which draws topics for "news" is skewed. Here's a picture --- I opened it with Firefox, and everything's okay. ~Sue adwoff.com

hmm.. you've got 3 <body tags in there, so I'd definitely check your html first. Make sure you have your header/footer/header-insert code in the right boxes in your html includes page. Then make sure you are not adding things like <body or <head tags in there.

Thanks, David.
I took that out ... and it is still happening.
An FYI--I had the stuff in the diplay options, General, HTML includes BEFORE I upgraded to B4, and it never did this.

Sue, I can't see it in the picture, and I took a brief spin around adwoff.com but couldn't find your beta site. PM me with the location of it so that I can take a look, ok?

FYI--when I was browsing ubbdev.com, when I go into a topic, the screen is skewed wide, too. Here's a shot of it: --- This happens with my MSN Explorer and I.E. 6 in the Addons & Modifications forum. It doesn't happen with Firefox ~Sue <<-- is clueless!

I've seen that too, but what's stretching that page is the php code block in gizzy's post Now if you see it on a different page, that would be news. If that is what you meant in the first post, it probably is either an html error or you've got a table with a width in pixels, not percentages. If you wanna pm me an access account I'll fix it for you. Otherwise, validating the html will make sure it's not something you've done

Look at Jennifer's post, Sue. It has a php block. With Firefox that block gets it's own scroll bar and the page itself doesn't get stretched. With Safari, and presumably I.E., the php block doesn't get it's own scroll bar, the page is stretched instead.
Edit her post, stick a line feed in the middle of it or take the php block out, see what happens.

ah yes, that's what the problem is - it's the code block stretching the page

Thank you, David & Allen. A FWIW--before the upgrade to B4, I don't think the PHP block did that. I could be wrong, but I often check the different sites with both browsers--MSN Explorer & Firefox--and I just didn't notice it being skewed like that before. ~Sue adwoff.com
