Can someone please tell me what the UBB code is for inserting spaces between words?

When ever I want to type something like this:

Cardinals......................160 (disregard the dots)

it comes out like this:

Cardinals 160

The HTML doesn't allow multiple spaces

On the Mac, I can use a Non Breaking Space with option+shift+space. But the PC keyboard equiv of Ctrl+Shift+Space on the PC doesn't work the same way.

You could enable HTML for your posts and type   which will be a non breaking space. You'd need one of those for each space.

Or if you put the text inside the code tags:

[ code ] and [ /code ] (without the spaces shown here)

it will use a monospaced font, and allow the spaces.

Example:
<pre>
This is 5 spaces in.
This is 10 spaces in.
This is 15 spaces in this is way to the right.
</pre>

However, inside the code tag, no other UBBCode is processed.

I've tried that "nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;" before and when I do, all I see after I make the post is "nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;"

Well for the nbsp thing to work, you'd have to use the pull down when making a post and either select HTML or UBBCode and HTML. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
