I'm convinced we have a tempermental message board, lol. Seriously, I have tried to expand the number of threads per page to 25 from 10, but nothing happens even though the theme file says 25 instead of 10 now. Any suggestions?
When you make changes to the theme file, those changes will be applied to users who aren't logged in, and new users registered after that. It does not update existing users.
There is a database command that you can run to reset existing users to a certain stylesheet.
<pre>UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_StyleSheet = 'somestylehere' </pre>
Maybe someone will post a database command that will update the number of posts displayed per page.
My web developers are going to kill me in the morning. Stupid me entered this into the SQL command under DB Management and then hit submit:
UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_StyleSheet = 'somestylehere'
Now the message board has literally lost all of its color and has a white background except for the links. Is there any command I can enter that is like the antidote, i.e., will reverse my stupid mistake? I feel like I'm drowning in this message board.
Someone else will have to answer that. I'm only familiar with version 6+. But using the above query might work the same, and probably wouldn't make things any worse.
