Am I able to put in something like this:
<!--#include virtual ="/scripts/banner/ads.cgi"-->
in my header.php file ??

I can install it fine on my index.shtml, but it will not show on my header.php file ??

is this even possible to do ??
any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if you can call a perl script from within a php file. You can use php code within the header.php file, but I really don't know if this allows you to run perl scripts. You can call other php scripts, but not sure about other types.

thanks for the quick reply, that got me thinking, and I came up with (with a little help <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> ) this:
