UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support SQL ERROR: Database error only visible to forum administrators

I was just given this web page and I have no idea what this error is.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Host '10.2.100.11' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\RollonRon\ubbthreads\mysql.inc.php on line 35
SQL ERROR: Database error only visible to forum administrators

I cant seem to find anything in the forums on this that was helpful to what I need.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks,
TJ

Unfortunately, that's a non error - "Database error only visible to forum administrator".

You'll have to check the MySQL error logs and report the real error.

For help on finding the real error message, check out about 1/2 way down this post:

I commented out that code like described in the other thread, but the only difference is the admin part was taken out. I will put the whole thing in this time.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]:

OK - here's your real error:

Host '10.2.100.11' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

You're not being allowed to connect to the database. Either your datbase user/name/password/host is incorrect, or something is going on with your host preventing you access to your database.
You might want to check with your host and find verify your database information is correct or see if there's an issue there. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
