In importing Classic to Threads, I tried to do a registration IP search under edit/show users. I plugged in values that I knew to exist, and it comes up with nothing. I believe that I have lost all historic registration IPs. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Even when it does show a result, (its showing results by replacing the IP with the IP it was transferred from) the results do not display IP addresses.
Interesting... Jen

The registration IP address of imported members is not preserved. It'll be something like a local machine address - 127.0.0.0 or similar. Moving forward under the threads registration system, the registration IP will be captured.

I'm not entirely sure how threads works, but I know it inputs the data into a MySQL database, it shouldn't be too hard to take the IP's from your classic board and mess around with a new registration of Threads and figure where it saves the ip's to and input the data.
I'm more of a MySQL/PHP guy myself but I've been with UBB.Classic for years and can't see myself taking the leap over to threads, but I'd be willing to help you get everything working just to play around on threads for a few hours to see how it's schema works.
Do you have AIM by chance? If so I'm LordMoguai.
