newbie question: When users login for the first time, their prefs are defaulted to 10 topics per page.
Where might I change that?
Is it in edit/config/ or theme settings?
I see one that says:
Default Textarea rows
and it is set for 10.
Might this be it? If so, why doesn't it just say so?

That's in the theme file - " Default number of topics per page on the postlist screen"

That will only apply to anonymous users and users new from that point on - existing users (including you) will need to change their preferences in the display prefs area of my home.

I wouldn't set this number too big. This is what every anonymous user sees - so the more posts that need to be displayed, the more server load there is. So generally you keep this number fairly low (like 10 or so) and registered users can customize everything themselves. This reduces the load on the server a bit and makes things more speedy.

Weird. It is set to 30, yet when people log on for the first time, it is set to default on their screen, to 10.
I can't figure this out.
I'd like it to default, on login, to 30 or more.
Thanks,
Jen
