I lost all my board when our server crashed and back up (well less said the better) ... had some help and board is back with what I assume is the shell - my old admin password is not recognised (no doubt no data retained after crash).

How can I gain access (admin) again?
When i try to create myself as a regular new user I get the message: Display Name is not the proper length. ( iam using the name admin1234)

Okay - first of all, before you do anything... you said the board is back, but was your data preserved? do you know if your members, forums, etc, are still there? have you looked at your database? in otherwords, are we starting from scratch with a "new" installation, or are we trying to jimmy into a board? <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
