Is it possible in version 6.5b4 to get rid of the line "There are no birthdays today" being displayed at the bottom of the main index? The option to display birthdays on the main forum listing has been switched off already, but the text still appears... In previous versions the ubbt_footer.tmpl contained the text that was to appear under "extra information", but it's not there anymore. Where do I go to remove the birthdays?

And another thing, I don't want a calendar, so I want to remove the link to it from the navigation bar. Any suggestions how I do that?

control panel > display options/general > "primary" tab > forum summary options > uncheck show birthdays.

I'm not quite clear (must be dense today) on what you are asking, but I *think* this will do what you're looking to do.

To remove the link you'll need to edit ubbt_unregisterednav.tmpl and ubbt_registerednav.tmpl.

Then you'll want to change "Allow Calendar Event Creation:" to Administrators only. Control panel > Master Settings > Feature Settings > "General" tab.
