We have two threads in our website which are "read only" They are for chat and a smiliegenerator. I use I-frames html for that, so I don't want anybody else to post there. But I would like to have the indicating gif to be "unread" instead of read. Hopefully you understand this question??

do you mean that you always want the new-content indicator to show as though there's new content?

Hmmm... That would require some hacking... I'm pretty sure you could do it just by hacking in the ubbthreads.tmpl template, but you do need to be aware that Infopop doesn't support hacking, so we won't be able to assist with problems once the board is hacked, unless the hacks are first removed.
