I want to add more Graemlins and i have added them to the ubb.threads/Graemlins but i am not sure how to proceed from here.
I tried the www.myurl/ubbthreads/Graemlins/smiley.gif and that doesn't work as Graemlin doesn't show up.

can I get soem advice on the easiest way to do this please?

Did you follow these steps from the Admin guide or did you just directly upload them to the Graemlin directory?

Add, Edit or Remove a Graemlin

Graemlins are the graphic images that users can incorporate with their posts (such as the confused face and the angry face). The Admin can control which instant Graemlins are available using the following instructions.

1. Create your instant Graemlin icons. The icons should be 15x15 pixel gif images.

2. In your UBB.threads™ control panel, click the images and icons link.

3. Click the graemlins tab. Click the add new Graemlin tab at the bottom of the page.

4. Use the “browse” button to upload your icons. In the “markup string” field, assign the code that will trigger the instant Graemlin; for example, <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> could be the markup string that triggers the smiling Graemlin. You also have the option to add “smiley code” so that a colon and a right parenthesis would trigger a smiling Graemlin. Click “add Graemlin.”

I'm having a problem where I try to upload a graemlin, but keep getting the "You did not upload a graemlin!" error. The graemlin directory is set to 755 as well.

Help! I got the custome gremlins updated and they are showing up as coices along with the default ones that came with UBB Threads. Problem now is that when you write a post then click on one of the cutoms gremalins to use the “markup string” shows up instead of the gremalin. if instance i have a gremalin with a sign that says thanx but instead of him in the post, you get :[thanx]: . The markup string in C.P is [thanx]

Instead of [thanx] for the markup string in the control panel, it should just be thanx.
