UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support mySQL error -- Client does not support authentication.....

I updated mySQL from 4.0.17 to 4.1.7 and now I get this error:
Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server

I am sure it's something simple that I missed during the upgrade of mySQL and I know its not an issue with UBBThreads but..... Any help would be great.

It is a MySQL problem.

Yep after re-re-reloading mySQL several times and trying the above commands it did work.
