Sorry if this has already been covered, but I couldn't find a post that helped.

I am currently setting up a number of BB's for the company to evaluate. I have PHP 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.0.21 running and working correctly (I know this because I have already installed and have another BB running). I would like to install threads as well, so I created a DB and opened up the install.php.

All I get is the following "No Input File Specified" on the page. I'm not exactly sure what is wrong so any help would be appreciated.

Interesting... I've never seen that error before... Can you give us the link to the install file?

Unfortunately I can't as it is an internal system.

However I am going to be trying the install again later this week or next onto a clean machine. So any advice on versions of PHP and MySQL that people have used succesfully would be appreciated.

I know I've had problems in the past just grabbing the latest versions of these things and them not being compatible.

No problem. You'll want to be using PHP 4.0.1 or higher, and we'd recommend MySQL 4+. Let us know how it goes. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Look in your php.ini for a doc_root entry. Make sure it is right, or just remove it. restart IIS, or apache if that is what you're using.
