UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Login Problem

The problem:

Installed UBBThreads. Then installed PhotoPost, PhotoPost Reviews and PhotoPost Classifieds to use the UBBThreads user registration system.

I log into UBBThreads, everything works fine. I click over to PhotoPost, Reviews or Classified and I see the Admin link. It shows I am logged in with my user name posted. But when I click on the administrative link under reviews I am prompted for a password. I enter my user name and password and it is rejected. When I log out of UBBThreads and then login under PhotoPost, Reviews or Classified instead of UBBThreads the username works and sticks, including under UBBThreads.

Anyone experience this problem and know how to correct it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Probably you're setting cookies under different domains. www.yourdomain.com and just yourdomain.com are different domains and use different cookies.

Threads will use the www.yourdomain.com - so make sure you consistantly use that domain for the cookie domain. All the photopost products have a place to enter your cookie domain. Make sure you've entered it with the www. Mixing yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com will lead to loads of cookie headaches - so make sure you are consistant in all your links. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
