Can I do this upgrade and if yes - can anybody instruct me in How to move my thousands of posts to a Threads server?

Yes, you can. You will need to upgrade your UBB.classic board to 6.7.2 (the current version) first, though. It has an import/export feature that will export your data (users, categories, forums, and posts) to files. After setting up your UBB.threads board, you will then use the files that you created to import the content into your UBB.threads board.

You can find the details on in the UBB.threads Admin Guide.

I dont have members Areas Access. Can you please provide me with the files?

Whilst, I can't help you with the files (you might want to put in a support ticket giving a link to this thread), reading another post here on the import to 6.5, you would be better waiting until 6.5.1 comes out.

Fp, one of the problems I had when upgrading from Classic was that certain users were being omitted by the importer. Turns out that some people had the same display name, and this caused the module to bring over only one of them.

I wouldnt mind trying it out for my self. I hope I can receive the converting tool soon.

Can I do that when I only have the demo version of threads?

The demo version can not import content - you must purchase a license / convert your Classic license before any importing can take place.
