UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Active Topics not sorting correctly

I just upgraded to version 6.5 and either I just can't figure the system out or the feature is just not sorting correctly. It's not posting the newest posts at the front, it seems like there's almost no order.

Yes, there is a bug in there...... Looks almost as if as there is a number of replies necessary to a topic within a certain amount of time to become an active topic.

Done! Now you all can take a look. The numbers seem right, it's just there's no rhyme or reason to the order.

Now it seems like there's a 200 thread cap on the Today's Active Topics. I have just recently installed the 6.5 version. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this bug?

Control Panel -> Feature Settings -> Search Engine
"Maximum results from search"

Not sure about that, does seem like a bug.

Actually, as I look at your screen shots, the first pic is posted by most recent reply.... which I think is designed functionality, or am I missing the issue?

It seems to be a bug deep in the search mechanism. I looked over the code, but couldn't find anything suspicious at first sight. Probably a tiny part of code, but well hidden. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ok, I found the bug, kinda.
Or at least a version without this bug.
Download the 6.51b5 release and copy the dosearch.php file over your current one.
This should fix it.
