Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to assist someone who is sorta in a predicament with their ubb.
My friend and webguy bailed on me on our site, so it's just me figuring this stuff out.
Well, I did the maintenance upgrade to 6.5.1 over the weekend, which went REALLY SMOOTH btw... u guys are getting better and better at this. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I can hardly wait for the next new stuff to come out!!!
Post upgrade, I had totally forgotton about two tweeks we had done for alignment purposes...
the main menu and the postlist.
Under the mainmenu, we had just made it one line instead of two.. (which I have not looked for yet)
On the postlist page the newfolder.gif and nonewfolder.gif showed up again too... forgot about that one...
My questions are this:
1. Do I need to just use the template feature to remove that or realign things or do I need to hitup the php pages too??
2. Anyone have any advice about modding this? My old partner did all that, and I'm about "half" clueless here. I can read php 'ok' and I know standard html so I think I can get this figured out with enough brain stretching, but any advice would be appreciated <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I just want to make sure I hit the right pages to do this.
I understand the support issue with the board and any tweeks, and I understand backup stuff with that too so i'm prepared to break it and put it back if necessary... but as said any advice would be great...
