Since my upgrade to 6.5.2 at http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com many have complained that search is hard to use. It used to be that if a bunch of posts were returned in a search that you could click on a result, read it, and then use the back button to get back to the results.

Now when you open a link from a list returned by a search, and if you then hit the back button to return to the list, you get a white page saying that the page is expired and to hit refresh. If you then hit refresh, you get a button that says "retry", and if you click that, you finally get the search list back, often after waiting a considerable time for the search to be performed again. The only way to avoid this is to open every link in a new window by right clicking, which is a major pain.

This is definitely not the behavior I've been used to.

That's easy enough to do, but that is not how things worked under 6.4.2 and the "back button" functionality is important.

Another data point from one of my customers. Same problem in a different situation:

i just typed out the longest most correct mathematical post in a long time and i hit continue and got an error message that said "this form is no longer valid, please use your browser's back button" i then had to hit the [censored] BACK BUTTON and it erased all my work.

Part of that is a browser issue, and very annoying. Trust me I know..
