I do not have sessions enabled on my site. Users are experiencing the timeout regarding the form no longer being valid when they try to write long posts. I understand that this is a feature, not a bug. How can I either lengthen the session time or eliminate the check altogether. What purpose does the form_check serve?

As for the session issue, that is gonna need Charles's attention to answer.

We also have some complaints about this at the moment. People don't accept they should ctrl-C their post before submitting it. Most people even forget to do this, resulting in lost messages which is a real shame.

If the sessions check would be made a little more intelligent, i know a lot of people would be very happy <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Again, what is the purpose of the session check? I can think of none. I'd like to just disable it.

I'm curious to know how to either disable or increase this as well. Already had one complaint after getting 6.5.2 running in under 3 hours.
