how do i run a repair statement via my control panel / data base tools / msq commands

I am getting the following errors at one of my forums..

I get the following errors...

Warning: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/wwwthreads/mysql.inc.php on line 108

We cannot proceed.

Script: /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/wwwthreads/postlist.php
Line#: 1217
SQL Error: Got error 127 from table handler
SQL Error #: 1030
Query: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM w3t_Posts AS t1 WHERE t1.B_Topic = 1 AND t1.B_Board='UBB18' AND t1.B_Sticky='0'

Also i have been on groupee's website and cant find any phone numbers listed for them.. are they listed or is this a new policy?

there's several phone numbers listed above in the "Contact" page <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I've called them a few times myself, they've always been helpful if I have a question.

You can use this statement to repair your table:

REPAIR TABLE `w3t_Posts`

You can use the command:

OPTIMIZE TABLE `w3t_Posts`

Substitute any of the tables (like w3t_Users) in that command.

You can also find many useful mysql queries for threads here:

Thanks... i guess i need to come here more often now that i am getting some responses..

You guys with some clout...any chance of getting the annual subscription rate to the members area reduced.. a couple of years ago it was $75 now its $125.. I hope groupee will restructure its pricing policy.. I think its driving current and potential customers elsewhere, or otherwise to just stay with the current version they have.. and i dont see much for upgrades in the making..

If it's just the one, you might try:

REPAIR TABLE `w3t_Boards`

Then check the forum permissions from your control panel and reset them.

appears to be a custom .net forum - you'd need to be on a windows server to even consider it.
