I have a board that has historically been open to anonymous postings. In the last couple of days I have had several hundred postings for online poker sites. These all are coming from different IP addresses (probably faked). Anyone have a suggestion for stopping this besides removing Guest access to post? Also, when I remove Guest access to post, the "post" and "reply" links go away (as they should) but I suspect I will get a lot of people asking how to post. Any way to leave those buttons on and tell people they need to register to post?

You could check the post for "forbidden" text , links in your case, and in this case give an error message and prevent posting.

I've been seeing that online poker bot hitting all sorts of boards with that spam. Crazy too, eveyr IP is different.
