Is it possible to configure UBB so that users can either upload or link to a photo of themselves and then have this photo appear next to all of their posts. And, if so, is there also a personal preference option that would allow individual users to turn off the display of these photos?

The reason I ask is because a board that I'm on allows for linking to photos but there doesn't seem to be an option for choosing to see these photos next to people's posts.

Do I need to ask the administrator to configure something on their end?

Also, is it possible to let people upload photos and limit the size of the photos (rather than simply linking to them)?

they can use their own pictures as avatars - the administrator would set in the control panel whether or not they allow outside linking to avatars. Otherwise, they could upoad them using the upload feature and link to the image from there.
