UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Tried to convert from classic to threads, failed badly

Hi there,
first I exported UBB classic 6.7.3. and then down/uploaded threads 6.5.2, went thrue step 6, and I ran the import script.
It seamt ok at first but couldn't read any posts , error 404.

Anyway I tried to work with the controlpanel for a while and since the board didn't function properly I pruned the 6091 topics and laos the member, then I removed the ubbthreads folder.


Next step was to upload again and to start from the beginning which didn't work either. it ended with that I had to register as administrator as a single member and I noticed my member # was 4042 and not 1. now I took a peak in the
Control Panel » Database Tools and sa that I have 42 Mbyte in the mysql database W3T_.
How can I empty the database? it should probably be with a SQL Command in the same box. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Can anyone advice how to do here.

Also a last question, If I'm about to convert then as I see it there will be some work with layout to make it looks like my old board

To clear out your users table you should run the following mysql command.

DELETE FROM w3t_Users where U_Number > 1

User # 1 is a placeholder user. Your main admin when you register should be user # 2.

As for making the layout look like your old board, you can probably hop on over to threadsdev.com, best place to visit for alterations.
