What does Rebuild Forum Stats file do ? I looked at the pdf documentation and its only listed as a header without any description.

Also, "Page views this month" - what is considered a 'page' and can I customize that to be 'day' ? (I know - 6.1 right?)

Thanks,

Brian

Rebuild Forum Stat files rebuilds all the index files used to generate the ubb=forum and ubb=forum_summary (last post info) pages. When UBB creates those pages, it tries to read as little data as possible, hence using index files rather than the actual thread files.

Re the hit counter - every ultimatebb.cgi and cp.cgi access is counted as a view. And that behaviour is changing slightly starting in UBB6.1 PB2 so any hack will have to be revised (and it would require a hack - hint https://www.ubbdev.com )

Now why would you think I was the type of
person to apply hacks :-)

The only one I had to do (so far!) was to increase the size of the text form for search (way too small for people who have high-res settings).

Thanks for the info.
