My site in in Chinese (Charset=GB2312). The Content Island produced is ISO, so when I embed it to my HTML page, the Content Island can not be encoded as Charset=GB2312 and can not display as Chinese.
You will need to use the Include form of CI, not the Javascript form. The problems are directly related to the same encoding problem that causes the "Hello Username" text on UBB pages to be corrupted.
(Javascript escape/unescape can not handle non-ISO-8859 characters.)
